Our Mission
The International Urban Education Consultants organization exists to foster greater access to opportunity in hitherto underserved communities. By utilizing proven educational techniques within the areas of leadership & identity development, we seek to edify a generation through the maximization of their inherent potential. In so doing, we will enable them to enrich themselves, their communities and the world at-large.
Our Vision
The International Urban Education Consultants ("IUE") will use their innovative educational techniques to provide programming to elementary, middle and high school students in underserved communities. The engaging curriculum has been strategically designed to cover age-appropriate goals related to our four essential pillars of: (1) Identity Development (2) Academic Success (3) Leadership and (4) Global Community Service. The students will work with college mentors who have been recruited and trained by IUE to achieve objectives related to each pillar.
The exciting program includes monthly activities, a summer retreat, out of town trips, a chance to be featured in our newsletter and the opportunity to participate in an international trip. The international trip, in their senior year, will expose our students to other cultures and new perspectives on the world around us.
Students who participate in our program will graduate from high school and attend college at a higher rate than their local and national peers enabling them to edify a generation through the maximization of their inherent potential. Our students will not only succeed at their post-secondary aspirations, but do so phenomenally.
